Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 14, 2026

Summit the Score ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at summitthescore.com and use our services.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Application form: When you apply to work with us through our Google Form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and information about your MCAT prep goals.
  • Email communications: When you contact us or subscribe to receive updates, we collect your email address and any information you include in your messages.
  • Account information: If you create an account to use our web-based study tools, we collect your email address and, depending on how you sign in, either a password or a Google sign-in identifier. Passwords are managed by our authentication provider (Supabase) and stored only in securely hashed form — we never see or store your plaintext password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google but never your Google password.
  • Study progress data: When you are signed in, we save your activity in our study tools — such as questions attempted, whether answers were correct, quiz scores, and timestamps — so we can sync your progress across devices and show you insights on your personal progress dashboard.

Information collected automatically:

  • Analytics data: We use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated information about how visitors interact with our website, such as pages visited and referring websites. No personal data is collected through our analytics and no cookies are used for tracking.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To review your application and communicate with you about our tutoring programs
  • To send you program information, updates, and educational content via email
  • To provide and improve our web-based study tools, including saving your progress
  • To understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it
  • To respond to your questions and provide support

3. Cookies

Our website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. If you create an account for our web-based study tools, we may use essential cookies solely to keep you logged in. These are strictly necessary for the service to function and do not require consent.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect information:

  • Google Forms — for processing applications (governed by Google's Privacy Policy)
  • Google Sheets — for shared study resources
  • Supabase — our authentication and database provider, which securely stores study-tool account information and progress data (governed by Supabase's Privacy Policy)
  • Google Sign-In — an optional way to log in to our study tools (governed by Google's Privacy Policy)

Our website also contains links to external resources such as UWorld. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party websites.

5. How We Protect Your Information

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Data transmitted to our study tools is encrypted in transit, and account data is protected by database access controls that restrict each account to its own data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. If you have a study-tools account, we keep your account and progress data until you ask us to delete it. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting us, and we will remove it.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal information
  • Opt out of email communications at any time
  • Manage any essential cookies through your browser settings

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
