Remember how tough that cumulative final was in your organic chemistry class? Well how about a cumulative final for all of undergraduate science?
The MCAT is a MOUNTAIN and it is standing in the middle of the path
leading to your future as a doctor...

The MCAT is a Tough Climb...

It's the same with the MCAT, only much much easier (seriously).

Unlike a real life patient, this test is predictable.

About Your Guide

My name is Paul. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2012 with a degree in Neurobiology and Psychology. As I said, I've been tutoring for the MCAT since 2015, however I tutored and was a teaching assistant for several biology, psychology, physiology and statistics classes while in college. I love helping people reach that "Ahah!" moment and thoroughly enjoy the challenge of explaining something in a way I've never tried before.

As far as my MCAT "chops," I scored a 517 back in 2015 on my first try. Since then I've logged 100% percentile scores on the Chem/Phys section. And in the 99% percentile for CARS, Bio/Biochem and Psych/Soc. While that may be impressive, I hope that you are more impressed with my ability to teach and coach you to the top of your potential as an applicant.

Now I'm not some whiz-kid, golden boy of MCAT glory. My test score was not the result of some unattainable genius. I scored as well as I did because I worked with dedication and intelligence to solve the MCAT puzzle. I knew what was likely to be tested, how to make sure that I knew it and how to be ready to apply it in the way the MCAT demanded. You can do this too!

I also spent three years working in the medical field as an EMT and Medical Assistant. If you have any questions about what practicing medicine is really like, I'd love to share my experiences on that front as well.

Besides teaching, my other passions are spending time in nature, living a healthy lifestyle through diet, meditation and yoga, and producing music.

"I had the privilege of working with Paul while studying for my second attempt of the MCAT. While studying for my first MCAT, I found myself losing focus on “the big picture” and getting hung up on the minute details.

This is where Paul came to the rescue! Paul was incredibly helpful in guiding me to learn how to become a better test taker. During each meeting, we actively practiced and discussed questions and passages that reinforced the material and concepts we had covered in previous sessions.

Additionally, Paul was very flexible working around both my work and class schedules and we never had an issue finding times to work together. There was even one meeting leading up to my test where Paul blocked out an entire 4-hour time gap for me!

After working with Paul, I was able to increase my score in each of the MCAT subcategories. Paul has knowledge, patience, and the unique ability to explain difficult concepts in ways that are much easier to understand. It takes hard work and dedication, but Paul is unquestionably the tutor to take you where you want to go if you’re deciding to seek out MCAT tutoring!"
